A Proud Legacy

After 25 years of owning and operating Lincolnwood Resort, Ross and Beth Teasdale have decided to close this chapter of their resort-owning life, and sell this fine resort. It has been an incredible journey and certainly one we will never regret or forget! What a wonderful life experience to be able help people enjoy a family vacation, a honeymoon, and many annual family reunions. We hope our hospitality has created lasting memories to cherish forever. We certainly know that we have made so many lifelong friendships and thankful for all the families that let us share in on all the fun and excitement. We wish we could name all the wonderful times and different things we did here, but that would be a book! We would love for another family to take over and extend the time for all that continually come here!

A True Destination

Lincolnwood Resort has been family owned and operated since the 1950s. It is considered to be one of the most popular relaxation spots for visitors, patrons, and locals as time moves on. It has been kept perpetually updated and continually remodeled. Lincolnwood is the most spacious resort on Long Lake. Our area covers over 6 1/2 acres with 260 feet of shoreline. We have 6 complete housekeeping cabins; 2 are winterized. We have solid reservations year after year with long waiting lists to get in. We have a permanent campground with 14 spectacularly groomed trailers and area for their recreation. The spots are kept immaculate. The season in the campground runs May to October and our campers’ patronage is exceptional. There is virtually no turnover. We have a full liquor bar, being the first on the lake to create original drinks and specials. We also have a beautiful new kitchen area to keep our short-order menu catering to an “afternoon snacker” or a nice “after the catch” dinner. All of our bar seating in the lodge is overlooking the lake with the most beautiful sunsets you can imagine.

Many Perks and Possibilities

We offer a complete bait and tackle shop attached to the main lodge. We’re the only bait and tackle shop directly on the lake in the winter, which creates high sales volume. We are the only resort with gas right on the lake, catering to the summer boat traffic and the snowmobilers in the winter.  We have brand new ATV trails running directly through our property that connect to a full map in the county. We are the ONLY resort that offers full amenities: Cabins, camping, liquor, food, bait, tackle, small groceries, ice, off sale liquor, full DNR license station, gas on the lake, connection to both Snowmobile and ATV trails directly on the property, sandy bottom swimming, full afternoon sun, boat rentals, private lockers down by the lake for storage for all patrons, Free WiFi, and excellent service! All our Lincolnwood help is hired knowing the customer comes first and great attitudes are a must! Winter business is outstanding also. We have a high gross income and excellent books to prove it. Comfortable, Secure Living

Our living quarters are above the main lodge. A 4-bedroom, spacious home with master bedroom and grand deck overlooking the lake with private entrance. “Great room”, 2 full bathrooms and complete kitchen. We have just installed an excellent security system throughout the lodge. We have a new playground and massive area for badminton, volleyball, or any outside activity. We have docking and a boathouse with lockers for lakeside storage for our guests, as well as a great boat rental setup. Long Lake is the third premiere lake in Wisconsin. It is 3,200 acres and holds the title for “Walleye Capital of Wisconsin.” Our Long Lake Chamber of Commerce is strong, and other businesses are our friends. The lake has a strong Preservation Association which shows the power and commitment residents take in keeping this lake clean. We are also proud to have The Boy Scouts of America, deeded in a life long trust, to own and operate a 2,500 acre camp of land with 8 miles of shoreline that will never be developed or sold. The neighborhood is safe and school system is excellent. Rice Lake’s ACT scores are above the state’s average. We are located just 2 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul, but yet far enough away to enjoy peaceful country living. You can choose your own hours and vacation time, and never answer to a boss again!

As proud as we are of our resort and all its history, we also realize that it might be time for a change with this property. We look forward to seeing someone else’s dream come true!
